Dr. Becht is a native of Louisville, KY. He is a graduate of Saint Xavier High School where was president of Student Council and ran for the cross country and track teams.
He obtained a degree in Biology with honors from the University of Dayton where he also ran cross country.
He then returned home and graduated with honors from University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2006. He is very happy to be back in the Louisville area after his 3-year residency at West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV, where he earned a Masters of Science in Orthodontics. Dr. Becht remains active in education as he is a part-time faculty member at the University of Louisville orthodontic residency and thoroughly enjoys the ability to keep up to date with new trends in the orthodontic field.
Dr. Becht is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and Southern Indiana Dental Society. He is a past president of The Kentucky Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Becht and his wife, Becca, have one son, Harrison. Dr. Becht’s personal interests include running (he has completed the Boston Marathon 3 times), golf, hunting, and college sports (especially the University of Louisville). He also enjoys learning how to cook.
Dr. Pawlak has been creating confident smiles in Madison since 1998. A graduate of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine and completed her orthodontic residency at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.She is passionate about orthodontics because it allows her to transform lives—helping patients move from feeling self-conscious to sharing their smiles with confidence. She remains dedicated to continuing education, staying current with the latest advances in orthodontic techniques, including Invisalign® and other emerging technologies.Dr. Pawlak is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association. She also participates in study groups and professional meetings to stay at the forefront of her field.A native of Portage, IN, Dr. Pawlak has called Madison home since 1998. She and her husband, Geno, have two children, Gabby and Nate. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and cheering for both the Chicago Cubs and the Cincinnati Reds. She is also active in the community, volunteering through local schools, food banks, and youth sports programs.
